The second Paediatric Haematology Oncology Support Services Conference in India to run parallel to PHOCON this 24th-26th November 2017 in Kolkata.

In November 2015, CanKids... KidsCan (www.cankidsindia.org) was invited by the Executive Body of Paediatric haematology oncology chapter (PHO) of The Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) to create and organize a parallel track for social support services and organizations for the first time ever.

PHOSSCON is a parallel conference track in PHOCON akin to the annual Childhood Cancer International (CCI) conference. PHOSSCON’16 was a success with 2 International Faculty & 44 National Faculty. We had 30 Support service Organizations participate with a total unique attendance of 150 representing 17 Cities across 11 States in India.

PHOSSCON is an opportunity for all those engaged in making a change for childhood cancer.
You, your organization, a childhood cancer champion, or a paediatric oncology expert to-

  • Learn from the experts and each other
  • To share and showcase your work or some aspect of it,
  • To network with like minded organisations, the doctors, and parents and survivors,
  • To formally create and join the community of paediatric oncology support services and
  • To formally advocate for change in our chosen cause: childhood cancer
The 3 day conference includes panel discussions, award winning abstract presentations, posters, NGO Management skill sessions and exciting keynote speeches with an international & national faculty.

The target audiences for this conference are Decision Makers in Social Support Organisations, Interested individuals, philanthropists and Donors, Doctors, Scientists, Researchers & Treating Centres committed to Social Support, Outreach, and Treatment Supportive Care. We will be having both National & International Faculty/Speakers and will also be sharing faculty/ sessions with PHOCON as well.

Your participation & support towards this would be most welcome and further add to our journey together in bringing about Change for Childhood Cancer in India. We welcome your feedback and guidance. Please reach out to our secretariat for the same.
